![]() We are all back from the Thanksgiving break and ready to get back to work. Students have finished off a group project where they took a every day object and warped/combined it with another to make something completely new. they then took this idea and made huge representations of it using papier mache. Students were inspired by Oldenburg and Erwin Wurm. One example is pictured here, it is a combination of a pencil, tooth brush, and paint brush. Very creative! Along with that some of the wonderful students have been out and about in town adding a little holiday cheer to our wonderful town. Pictures to come soon.

WMS art departmentOur goal is to help any students become enthusiasts about art and it's related topics! no need to be nervous, whether you are a extremely talented artist, or someone who is interested but not to confident about your ability's, there is a place here for you. We do lots of different projects in class, and learn about famous artists like Chuck Close, Banksy, Dr. Seuss, and many more. We also stride to make a difference outside the art room, with our sights set on many different opportunities to give back using art. Archives
