Right before thanksgiving break some of the dedicated students of the WMS art program helped add some holiday flare to downtown.  Over at the Simplified Tax Agency we went in and over two days we drew and painted on their windows.  Don't have time to check it our in person? no problem, look at the snap shots of the transformation below!

Because of the students endeavors the simplified tax agency won the best designed windows award for the town! GO WMS ART!

Thanks again to all those who participated and to the Simplified Tax Agency who allowed us this great opportunity!

We are all back from the Thanksgiving break and ready to get back to work.  Students have finished off a group project where they took a every day object and warped/combined it with another to make something completely new.  they then took this idea and made huge representations of it using papier mache.  Students were inspired by Oldenburg and Erwin Wurm.  One example is pictured here, it is a combination of a pencil, tooth brush, and paint brush.  Very creative! Along with that some of the wonderful students have been out and about in town adding a little holiday cheer to our wonderful town.  Pictures to come soon.
